What's the best way to erase Liquichalk? We recommend Simple Green, as it is non-toxic and seems to work the best, but you can also use ammonia based cleaners like Windex. After cleaning, it helps to do a final wipe or rinse with plain water. Can I buy Liquichalk pens at a store or do I have to buy online? What's the difference between the paint pens I've seen at craft or office supply stores and original Liquichalk? Liquichalk pens are of a high quality and consistency, and when used properly, can be erased from non-porous surfaces. When not subjected to chemical treatments or long periods of direct sunlight, Liquichalk can be erased cleanly without staining. How is Liquichalk different than wet-erase pens? Liquichalk pens are water resistant-that means they're great for rainy, misty or humid environments, because they don't wash off accidentally. How is Liquichalk different than dry-erase pens? Many of our customers prefer them over dry erase for menus or small point-of sale boards because the information becomes semi-permanent, and cannot be removed simply by brushing up against it or getting it wet or damp. Can I use Liquichalk on regular chalkboards or painted on chalkboards? It would look good, but we don't recommend using Liquichalk on traditional chalkboards unless you want it to be permanent. No problem! All of our medium tip pens come with reversible tips - just pull out the tip, flip it over, and you instantly have the tip you need. What am I going to pay for shipping? Of course, this answer depends on how often and how much you use them, so we can't really say. It is a high quality pen with an ample amount of liquid so we are sure you will be satisfied with your pens. Just remember to give them a shake before using!
